Centre for Safety researcher Dr Laura Fruhen has been invited to present at the 7th annual Global Humanitarian Aviation Conference & Exhibition on her topic of expertise: Chronic Unease. She will be discussing the role of chronic unease in uncertain and risky environments.

The 7th annual Global Humanitarian Aviation Conference & Exhibition takes place in Geneva, Switzerland on 7-9 October 2015. This global conference aims to bring together elite aviation innovators, decision makers and accountable managers to discuss a broad spectrum of pressing aviation safety concerns affecting humanitarian air operations and emerging trends in the aviation industry.

This conference is organised by the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP)- the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. In emergencies, the WFP gets food to where it is needed, saving the lives of victims of war, civil conflict and natural disasters.
