Research is a big part of what we do here at the Centre for Safety (C4S). Our research relies on people like you volunteering to participate in our studies. Your participation is greatly appreciated and is vital to our goal of integrating human and technical processes to better understand safety.

On this page you will find some of our research projects that you can take part in. This page will be regularly updated with new opportunities for you to take part in our research so please check back for updates!

All our research projects have been approved by The University of Western Australia's Ethics Committee (more information on ethics can be found here).

Safety Leadership Training: Survey link here
Through a number of discussions with the C4S' partners, the Centre has identified a need for effective Safety Leadership training. To address this need, the C4S has partnered with UWA's  Accelerated Learning Laboratory to develop a Safety Leadership short training course which will launch in early 2016. To better understand the industry need and to ensure the Safety Leadership course is tailored and targeted appropriately, your input is appreciated. This is your chance to have a say about how safety leadership training should be done!
This survey should take only 2 minutes of your time to complete, and your answers are completely anonymous.
