Postgraduate Study & Research

There are several options available for potential students to take when it comes to pursuing postgraduate study or research.

1. Master of Industrial/Organisational Psychology
The Master of Industrial and Organisational Psychology is a two year full-time Psychology course that includes nine coursework units, a research project, and 1000 hours of practical placement spread over three different settings.

Examples of coursework units include:Organisational Development and Work Design, Psychology of Training and Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing.

2. Combined Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Industrial/Organisational Psychology
The Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Industrial and Organisational Psychology is a combined course offering a full program of doctoral research with the Master of Industrial and Organisational Psychology. The MPsych degree component includes nine coursework units, a research project that is roughly half the load for the second year, and 1000 hours of practical placement spread over three settings.
